Hi again! Today I’m stopping by to share a CAS typographic card that I made for Day 1 of the MFT October Card Kit Release Countdown.
I was inspired by one of the sentiments from the My Neck of the Woods stamp set, which is exclusive to the Fox & Friends Kit. I decided to substitute the stamped “hello” for a die cut one and stamped the rest of the sentiment on my A2 cardbase of Smooth White Card Stock with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.
Next, I die cut three sets of white letters with the Impact Alphabet Die-namics and one set out of patterned paper from the Gift Wrap Paper Pad. I stacked them all with matte glue and adhered them to my cardbase.
To make sure that they were as straight as possible, I temporarily taped a T-ruler to the card. That way there was no need to draw a pencil line on it, which later would have to be erased.
To complete the card, I added a fox, a couple of bunnies and trees from the Fox & Friends stamp set. I stamped them with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink on Copic friendly card stock, die cut them with matching dies and colored them with the following markers; W1, W00, BG18, BG15, BG11, YR27, YR24, YR21, R01 and R00.
Lastly, I considered adding some crystal drops to embellish my CAS typographic card, but finally kept it simple. That’s it for today, thank you for stopping by! Remember that the Fox & Friends Kit will be available in the MFT Boutique, tomorrow!
