Hello! The MFT September Release Countdown starts today and I’ve created my very first Christmas card in a box, that I’m sharing with you today.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s a type of pop-up box which folds flat, so that it can fit inside an envelope.

It was so easy and fast to create with the Outside the Box Die-namics and Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics. I die cut all of the pieces out of Smooth White Card Stock and assembled most of the card with Scor-Tape, before decorating it.

I left out the back panel, so that I could adhere all of the letters, diecut with the Sending Christmas Joy Die-namics, to it. Next, I stamped the snowmen from the BB Present Time set on some Copic friendly card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.

I die cut them with the matching dies and colored them with Copic markers, before adhering them to my card in a box with thin foam squares. I also added some snowflakes stamped with Blu Raspberry and Cornflower Premium Dye Ink, as well as a couple of images from the Joyous Holidays set, which will be featured on Day 3.
