Colorful CAS card for CC148

Hello again! It’s time for a new color challenge (CC148) at the MFT Blog. This week I’ve created a clean and simple card with a fun, blue haired woman!

I wanted to use one of the adorable female characters from the BB Old Friends stamp set and this was the perfect occasion… So, I chose the tall lady with the cool curly hair and went to work with my Copic markers, keeping in mind the following color combo:

Of course, I could have been more conservative and use the two greys to color her hair, but I chose the strong blue color instead, and I love the result!

To draw more attention to her, I popped her up on a circle of Heavyweight Vellum, die cut with one of the dies from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and decorated with the Radiating Rays Stencil and Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.

For the sentiment, I went with a handcut heat embossed banner of Steel Grey Card Stock. As a last touch, I added some matching enamel stars and that’s it.
