Hello again! I’m back for Day 4 of the MFT May Release Countdown with a card featuring ink smooshing and the the new Circle Celebration Background.
I can think of many different ways of using this gorgeous background stamp, but today I went with clear embossing and ink smooshing with the following Distress Inks; Chipped Saphire, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Seedless Preserves.
It was a lot of fun getting my hands dirty, for a change! Once my 6″ x 6″ watercolor paper panel was dry, I splattered some gold watercolor on it and then trimmed it with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics.
Next, I adhered it to another same sized panel of Smooth White Card Stock (since I didn’t have any white foam left) and to a cardbase that measures 8 3/4″ x 5 5/8″ (22,2cm x 14,3cm).
I used the new All the Feels Die-namics to die cut four layers of cardstock (the last one in matte gold) and stacked them to create my own “thickers”. As a last touch, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bright Gold.
