Last week, for Day 1 of the November Vault Release, I created THIS card with a very simple “strike a pose” or dance mechanism using the PI Cute-A-Tude stamp set. I promised to create a tutorial for it and today you can check it out on the MFT YouTube channel!
If you don’t remember what I’m talking about, watch this video clip of the card in action:
You will find out most of the details about this card in the video tutorial, but I’ll be sharing some screen shots and more information below, so keep reading…

For this type of card, you will need to divide the body into two or three separate pieces, with the help of some partial stamping. In my dancing Santa card, I divided his body into only two parts (head+torso and legs).
For example, for the middle part of the girl, I inked the stamp with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and erased the neck area with a q-tip. That way I could extend it with a Copic Multiliner Pen.

In the above picture, after coloring and fussy cutting the before-mentioned piece, I’m adding some shine to the dress with a Clear Wink of Stella pen. It looks really pretty in real life, although it’s impossible to capture in the pictures.

I love adding Glossy Accents to small round details, like the center of the cute flower and I always discard the first drop, as it usually contains air.

OK, that’s all from me today! Please head on to the MFT Stamps YouTube channel to check out my tutorial. Thank you so much for stopping by!
