A Christmoose card for the MFT October Vault Release Day 1

Christmas card made with the Merry Christmoose stamp set.

Hi there! It’s time for Day 1 of the October Vault Release at My Favorite Things and I got to play with the sweet BB Merry Christmoose stamp set to make a colorful Christmas card.

I created a little cozy scene framed by two layers of the Merry Frame Die-namics diecut out of Summer Splash Card Stock. For the wallpaper, I used patterned paper from the Sweet Stack Paper Pack and for the floor, I stamped the Wood Plank Background on a piece of Kraft Card Stock with Kraft Premium Dye Ink.

Instead of stamping the Christmas tree with black ink on white card stock, I stamped it with Jellybean Green Premium Ink on Jellybean Green Card Stock and diecut it with the matching die. I also diecut the star out of gold cardstock and the Christmas tree stand out of Red Hot Card Stock.

As always, I colored the moose with Copic Markers (and some details with Prismacolor pencils), fussy cut him and popped him up with some foam dots.

I actually wanted to use the “Merry Christmoose” sentiment, but it just didn’t fit so I simply added a vellum banner, die cut with one of the dies from the Skinny Strips Die-namics, with the word “Christmas” from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set.  Finally, I embellished with some enamel dots and that’s it.
