Hi sweet ladies of cardmaking (SLOC)! Only one more day to go before the release and today I’m showing you a cute Christmas shaker card that features the Classic Snowglobe Die-namics and stamps from the ‘Tis the Season set.

I’ve said it before… I’m not a fan of shakers because I find them too difficult to make! But with the MFT Shaker Pouches, there’s no hassle and I’m done in no time. The only thing I need to worry about is what to put inside them.

In this case, I filled the window with small glittery sequins, stars and snowflakes and then I backed it with a piece of cardstock, to which I had previously glued the little scene. I actually stacked two and three diecuts to avoid leaving any open space behind the snowmen for the sequins to stick to.

Most of us DT gals had the same idea for the base of the snow globe, LOL. I stamped the Woodplank Background with Kraft Premium Dye Ink on a piece of Kraft Card Stock, then I diecut it and stamped the sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes set in Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink on it.

For the outside scene, I used the slopes from the Snowy Scene Builder Die-namics (it can be used all year round with its hills, trees and cabin) and lightly inked the edges of them with Tumbled Glasse Distress Oxide Ink. As a last touch, I added some sequins to my panel.
Thanks for the visit, don’t forget to visit the MFT Blog and welcome back tomorrow.
