Hello! For Day 4 of the September Release Countdown, I made an interactive coffee card with the Café All Day Die-namics.
The set includes seven dies which offer a bunch of possibilities when creating a coffee themed project. I paired it with some of the critters featured yesterday in the Sweater Weather sets.
For the mechanism I followed THIS wonderful tutorial by the talented Ali (@alilovescardmaking), but instead of cutting the pieces by hand like she does, I used the elements from the Meet in the Middle Die-namics.
On the above picture, I’m marking the spot where the first brad that links the mechanism to the panel goes…
…and here’s the spot for the second brad. The mechanism is really simple but works wonderfully, so do check out Ali’s tutorial!
Above you can see the completed mechanism and some of the other elements that I used for the card. I finally added a less see through lid to the coffee cup, so that you couldn’t see the ears of the cute critters.
