Hi again! I’m back with another card for Day 2 of the July Card Kit Release Countdown. This time I played with the cone shaped cocktail glass die from the Let’s Toast Die-namics to create a colorful celebration card.
I die cut it a bunch of time out of masking paper and inked a piece of Smooth White Cardstock with Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks. After that I die cut the panel with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1.
I like the crisp contrast between the white glasses, the colorful background and the black cardbase, but in hindsightI think I should have added something else… I actually tried with one realistically colored glass, but didn’t like the look of it. What would you have added?
For the sentiment, I stacked two layers of the cute Simply Celebrate Die-namics, which is our newest Free with $60, releasing with the July Kit. I also added some Clear Round Drops to finish the card.
