Hi again! I was itching to make an interactive peek-a-boo card, in which something hidden is revealed… Luckily for me, it’s the theme of this month’s Birthday Project Challenge at My Favorite Things.
In my case, when the pull tab is pulled, the piles of cute critters move and the sentiment is revealed… Peek-a-boo! Here’s an animated gif of the card so that you can see it in action:

I used animals from the BB Birth-Yay and Ewe Are the Best stamp sets to create my moving elements. For the mechanism I followed Karolyn’s awesome Double Slider Card Tutorial which you can watch HERE.

I colored the piles of critters with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut them leaving lots of white space, so that they would hide my heat embossed sentiment.
