Hi again! Today on the last day of the MFT March Release Countdown, I’m sharing a card with the adorable Cute Critters. Tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST, the complete March release will be available in the MFT shop.

I can’t wait for tomorrow… The DT’s projects are always extra special on Release Day. But let’s have a look at today’s card…

I started by stamping and masking the animals and hearts, a labor intensive but fun task. I had to move the dog’s ears a bit in order to fit the cat/tiger.

Next I inked the background with Distress inks using the colors Chipped Saphire, Seedless Preserves, Victorian Velvet and Antique Linen for the sky and Mowed Lawn + Peeled Paint for the ground. Once the ink was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment “You’re not alone” from the Sweet Friends stamp set, in white.

Then I colored the critters with Copic colors and added a couple of details with Prismacolor pencils. I also added two layers of the tree branch for the bird to perch on.
