Card with colorful flowers

Tic tac, tic tac… The MFT March Release Countdown continues and we’re down to Day 2. I created a card with colorful flowers that I’m sure you’ll enjoy.

The new set that I used is called Painted Petals and it’s one of those layered stamp sets that are so much fun to use. I started by trying out different Premium Dye Ink combinations, until I was satisfied with the results.

Blue Breeze, Blue Yonder, Cornflower and Lavender Fields.
Cotton Candy, Razzle Berry, Wild Cherry and Lavender Fields.
Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, Orange Zest and Wild Cherry.

For the leaves I used Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green

After stamping the flowers and leaves on Smooth White cardstock, I cut them with the matching die set and attached them at different heights, forming a sort of wreath. For the sentiment, I gold embossed one of the stamps from the must-have Anything-but-Basic Encouregement set on a handcut fishtail banner. The last touch were a couple of Bright Gold Nuvo Crystal Drops.
