Hi there! July has quickly rolled by and it’s time for a new challenge at Create a Smile. I made a very graphic card based on this sketch:

I embossed some of the leaves from the beautiful stamp set Time to Say Thanks in white on a black panel. Simultaneously, using my Stamp Perfect Tool from Hampton Art, I also stamped the same design in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a white panel.
I used a craft knife to cut the three squares from the white panel and then I colored them with Copic markers in summer colors. I glued the first one directly to the black panel, added two layers of black cardstock to the second square and four layers of cardstock to the third square, before adhering them with double sided tape.
The sentiment is from the set of dies Cool Cuts Tiny Sentiments, which I love! I cut it twice out of black cardstock and once out of silver cardstock and layered the die cuts. I used the same silver cardstock to frame the main panel and attached them to a white card base.
The last touch were a couple of pink, yellow and turquoise enamel dots. Here’s another black and white project of mine that you might enjoy.
