Hello! Spring has officially arrived, and I’m welcoming it with a fun interactive card featuring a dancing girl. Once again, I’ve made one of the stamps from the “Pure Innocence” line by My Favorite Things come alive…
This time I chose the cute girl from the “Hula Hoop” stamp set, that I received in 2016, when I was a guest designer for My Favorite Things. Check out the card that I made with it, back then.
For today’s card, I made the girl dance with a really simple linkage mechanism, that you can see in my video tutorial:
In case you don’t have the Die-namics Band-Aids, here’s a printable simplified life size version of it:

Also, here are all the measurements of the elements that I used:
- White card panel: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/4″ (10,4 cm x 13,6 cm)
- Striped card panel: 4 1/2″ x 5 6/8″ (11,4 cm x 14,6 cm)
- Card base: 9″ x 5 6/8″ (22,8 cm x 14,6 cm)
I hope you enjoyed my dancing girl card! If you are as passionate about interactive cards as I am, and you know some Spanish, check out this online cardmaking class at Tarjeteamos, that will begin on the 14th of May:
