A springtime card for LPES

Empezamos la semana con un nuevo reto tarjetero en Locas por el Scrap. Esta vez se trata de usar una paleta de colores preciosa. No somos demasiado estrictas con el tema… con usar dos o tres de los colores, nos vale.

We’re starting the week with a new card challenge at Locas por el Scrap. This time we have to use a beautiful colour palette. We’re not too strict about it… if you use two or three of the colours, it’s fine by us.

Yo he aprovechado para hacerle esta dulce tarjeta de cumpleaños a mi ahijada, que cumple nueve añitos dentro de un par de semanas:

Contiene varios de mis colores favoritos, así que no me pareció un reto difícil… aunque el tono “Pistachio Pudding” todavía no logro identificarlo 😉

It has many of my favourite colours, so I didn’t find it too difficult to draw inspiration from it… although I’m not sure what kind of colour “Pistachio Pudding” is 😉

The pretty doll (you can find it HERE), that I coloured with Copic Markers, is a digital stamp by Zuri Artsy Crafty. I warmly recommend this blog… it has a lot of beautiful freebies and all kinds of tutorials.

Embossé el sentimiento, de un set de sellos de Hero Arts, con polvos de embossing platinos de Simon Says Stamp, sobre un banderín de vellum azul, cortado a mano.

I embossed the sentiment, from a stamp set by Hero Arts, with Simon Say Stamp platinum embossing powder on a blue handcut vellum banner.

El corazón de madera es de Lawn Fawn… lo entinté con tinta de pigmento “Apricot” de Mama Elephant y lo embossé con polvos de embossing transparentes. También añadí un poco de hilo plateado y un par de enamel dots, para darle más interés visual a esta sencilla tarjeta.

The wooden heart is by Lawn Fawn… I inked it with Mama Elephant “Apricot” Pigment ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I also added some silver thread and a couple of embossing dots for visual interest.
