I’m always looking for ways to make the most of my stamps and dies and when I heard, through Yolanda Garrido from Scraping time, that Online Card Classes were offering a class named “Strech your dies”, I decided to sign up.

I followed the instructions of the wonderful Debby Hughes to create this card with an inlaid text.
Teñi vellum con una tinta de pigmento Color box para el lacito y apliqué una capa de Wink of Stella transparente sobre el texto troquelado.
I colored the vellum for the bow with a Color Box pigment ink and applied a layer of Clear Wink of Stella on the die cut text

I’m in love with Teresa Collins’ collection of papers “Nine & Co.”… it’s a mix of black and white and soft colored patterns (basic, geometrical and floral).
Repetí papel de dientes de león para una segunda tarjeta basada en una creación de Julie Ebersole e hice una tarjeta de cumpleaños para mi amiga Marta.
I used the same dandelion paper for my second card based on Julie Ebersole’s design and made a Birthday card for my friend Marta.
Se me olvidó sacar una foto de la tarjeta abierta así que voy a explicar como funciona… las letras hacen de cierre o anclaje para la tarjeta en forma de tríptico.
I forgot to take a picture of the card in an open position so I’ll explain how it works… the letters gently lock the upper flat in place.
Me encantó esta sencilla técnica y seguro que la repetiré muchas veces…

Esta es la tercera tarjeta del día en la que utilicé un par de técnicas explicadas por la gran Jennifer McGuire. Fui un paso más allá y modifiqué el texto troquelado para convertir el “hola” en “aloha”…
This is my third card for the day for which I used a couple of techniques explained by the magnificent Jennifer McGuire. I went one step further and modified the die cut text in order to convert the “hola” (hello) in an “aloha”…
En su tarjeta Jennifer colocaba el texto troquelado encima del fondo con el falso repujado, pero a mi no me gustaba el resultado y despejé la zona alrededor de mi sentimiento. Espero que os hayan gustado mis tres “scraplifts”. ¡Hasta mañana!
In her card, Jennifer glued the die cut sentiment on top of the faux dry embossing, but I didn’t like the way it looked so I cleared the area around my sentiment. I hope you like my three “scraplifts”. See you tomorrow!
