Tarjeta con bombones para el día 4

La cuenta atrás al lanzamiento de enero de MFT continua y para el día 4 comparto una elegante tarjeta con una caja de bombones.

It was so much fun to assemble all of the pieces die cut with the Box of Chocolates Die-namics. I used the following colors of card stock for it: Amarena Cherry, Cotton Candy, Summer Splash, Chantilly Cream, Kraft, Milk Chocolate, Gold Shine and Smooth White.

To give the illusion of volume I stacked three layers of each of the chocolates. I also used three layers for the border of the box.

At first I was thinking of stamping the sentiment from the Sweet Nothings set directly onto the lid of the box but I decided it would look better on the white panel, cut with the second largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. That way I could add the adorable bow instead.

To decorate my A2 card base of Caribbean Sea Card Stock I did some tone on tone stamping with Blue Yonder Premium Dye Ink and the X’s and O’s Background stamp. Finally, to tie everything together I added a second panel of Gold Shine Card Stock. I decided not to add any embellishment except for a left-over chocolate in the lower left corner.
