¡Holaaa! Hoy empiezo la cuenta atrás al lanzamiento de junio de MFT con una box card con los simpáticos animalitos pescadores del set de sellos SY Reel-y-Great Day.

First of all, I stamped, colored and die cut all of the images with the matching dies. For the coloring I used the following Copic markers: BG15, BG13, BG11, E37, E35, E33, R37, R35, E59, G16, G14, G12, YR68, YR65, YR61, C00, C2, C3, W1, W3, W5, W7 and W10.

I wanted to use all of the images so I decided to create a box card. For the sky I did some ink blending with the new Sunny Rays Stencil and following Distress Oxide Inks: Fired Bricks, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. I then cut it (and the three side pieces) with the Outside the Box Level-Up Die-namics.

I also did some ink blending with Faded Jeans, Evergreen Bough and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks for the waves, which I then die cut using the Outside the Box Waves Die-namics.

It was so fun and easy to assemble all of the parts of the card and to play around with the placement of the decorative elements. As a last touch I added some clear enamel dots.

It’s always amazing to see how easily a box card fits into an A2 envelope. I hope you enjoyed my fishing themed one. Do check out the MFT YouTube Channel and Blog for more inspiration!
