La primera es protagonizada por el simpático camaleón del set My Smile Is Bigger Because of You y el adorable perrito del set We’re the Picture of Best Friends.

No estoy utilizando mecanismos nuevos…

The first card is quite easy to make. I cut a 4 3/4″ square panel with my paper trimmer and used the chameleon die to die cut an offset window. Next I stamped the chameleon on a piece of acetate with black StazOn ink. I didn’t want the rainbow colors to show around the critter so I used a white paint marker on the back of the acetate to fill out that space. I also used it for the eye.

For the back of the tongue I chose a red permanent marker. It’s not perfect, but it does the job.

I used a 4″ circle from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to create the rotating circle. To make it sturdy and thick I layered three of them. I used the following Copic markers to create the rainbow effect: BV04, BV02, BV01, B18, B14, B12, BG05, BG02, BG01, G05, G03, G02, Y17, Y15, Y13, YR68, YR65, YR61, R39, R37, R35, RV09, RV06 and RV04.

As you can see, the crocodile in card number two is anything but menacing even though its teeth look scary! The turtle is totally safe with his bestie.

For the ink blending I used the Grassy Edges Stencil as well as the following Distress Oxide Inks: Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage. The clouds are from the You Make My Days Sunshiny Die-namics and for the mechanism I used the Twist & Turn Interactive Die-namics, which is so versatile!

Before I leave, here are the measurements for both cards. Thanks for stopping by!
