I’m so excited because we’re bringing back a bunch of cute fall and winter themed Birdie Brown stamps! In today’s card I combined stamps from three sets: BB Jingle All the Way, BB Cool Day and BB Beast Friends.

I used masking paper and Extreme Black Hybrid Ink to stamp and stack the ice block, the two yetis and the sweet little girl. Actually there would have been enough space for one more critter, but I’m happy with this little tower.

Next, I colored and fussy cut the whole thing, added thin foam squares to the back of it and put it far away before starting on the background. It’s not the first time that I spill something on a finished card element and ruin it, LOL.

For the background I used three stencils and a bunch of Premium Dye Inks: Drifts & Hills Stencil, Cloud StencilMSTN Summer Waves StencilGrape JellyGrapesiclePrincess PinkCotton CandySummer SplashSno ConeBlue Yonder and Lazy Day. I love bright colors but the soft pastel tones of this ink blending are also beautiful.

The next step was to silver emboss the sentiment from the BB Beast Friends directly onto the panel, which I die cut with the largest die from the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also added some matching enamel dots to finish the card.

Before I go, here’s a last look at the coloring for which I used the following Copic markers:

  • Skin: E11, E21, E000, R00
  • Girl’s hair and clothes: E37, E35, E33, BG13, BG11, RV24, RV32
  • Ice block: BG0000, BG00
  • Yeti fur: C3, C2, C00
