¡Bieeen, ya vamos por la mitad de la cuenta atrás al lanzamiento de enero de MFT! Hoy comparto una fabulosa tarjeta CAS con una divertida corona de unicornios.

When I saw this cute set, I knew that I wanted to use all of the unicorns in one card. They are quite small, but in order to make my unicorn wreath fit, I chose a to create a 5″ x 5″ square card.

Coloring of the unicorn wreath
I started by stamping the images on some Copic friendly card stock with Extreme Black Hybrid. Then I die cut them with the matching dies and colored them with the following Copic markers:
- Unicorn bodies and muzzle: BG10, YR01 and YR00
- Red mane and tail: R29, R24, R22
- Orange: YR68, YR65, YR61
- Yellow: Y17, Y15, Y13
- Green: G16, G14, G12
- Blue: BG 05, BG02, BG01
- Purple: BV02, BV01, BV00

Next, I die cut the word «queen» out of Gold Sparkle Card Stock, backed with Stick-It adhesive. I adhered it to the center of my 4 5/8″ x 4 5/8″ panel of Smooth White Card Stock and completed it with a little strip of Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock with one of the sentiments from the Friendly Unicorns set.

For a touch of glamour, I added a 4 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ panel of Gold Sparkle Card Stock under the main panel. After that I was free to play with the unicorns and come up with the perfect placement for them. I adhered them with thin foam squares and finished the card with matching enamel dots. Besides being decorative, these allowed me to give the wreath a more rounded shape.

That’s all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you’ve already visithed the MFT Blog for more inspiration from the DT. ^_^
