¡Hola de nuevo! Hoy celebro el lanzamiento del October Vault, con una tarjeta protagonizada por las montañas del set de troqueles Snow-Capped Mountains Die-namics.

I fell in love with the whimsical style of these mountains as soon as I saw them and thought that they would look great on a Christmas card. I die cut them out of Gravel Gray Prestige, Cement Gray Prestige and Smooth White card stock and saved them for later…

Next, I used the Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die-namics to die cut a frame/background for my card. I then used a craft knife, to trim it and glued it to a piece of patterned paper from the Very Merry Paper Pad. I played with the snow drifts to hide the bases of the mountains and added extra pieces behind them, to even out all of the layers.

I had some left over, stamped, colored and die cut elements from THIS fun Christmas card with ice skaters, that fit perfectly in this little scene. For the sentiment, I went with one of the phrases from the Dashing Deer set. I heat embossed it on a hand cut banner of Red Hot Card Stock.

The card was missing another touch of red, so I added a fussy cut balloon from the BB Birthday Buds stamp set, colored with Copic markers. Now the eye of the beholder, is really drawn to the scene and to the sentiment…

I hope you enjoyed this whimsical Christmas card and that you check out the projects of my teammates on the MFT Blog. Happy shopping!
