(Muy pronto en español.) Hello again! I’m back with a card featuring a sweet little spring wreath for Color Challenge 142 at the MFT Blog.
The natural color combo immediately made me think of flowers and I had been dying to use the lovely Spring Garden Die-namics, so I happily decided to create a spring wreath card. HERE you can see a card that I made for CC137, featuring a wreath with yellow flowers, and HERE‘s a cool winter wreath card, that I created in November.

I didn’t want to start from scratch, so I grabbed the Joyful Wreath Die-namics and diecut it, both in Limelight as in Jellybean Green card stock.

After adhering it to my panel of Natural Card Stock (diecut with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics), it was just a question of adding the flowers, die cut out of Smooth White and Sno Cone card stock.

I shaped them with a ball point stylus and stacked most of them, to give them dimension. After adhering them, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bright Gold, to the centers of each one.

For the sentiment, I chose the Little Hello Die-namics, which I die cut out of brushed gold card stock. It was difficult to adhere to the center of the wreath, so I ended up cutting a backing out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum. This allowed me to hide a couple of slivers of clear dimensional adhesive behind the letters.

I hope you liked my card and will join us for Color Challenge 142, at the MFT Blog. You might just be the lucky winner who gets a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!
